FRENCH DIP CRESCENTS & SIMPLE AU JUS
Dinner, lunch, or a great appetizer for Football season. This French Dip Crescents & Simple Au Jus Recipe is a winner every time!
ESPN, Sports Center, Fox Sports, you name it, it is on my TV practically 24/7 while my hubby is home. It is that time of year when sports is in the center of our lives. As long as FSU is doing well, we are all happy! LOL In the meantime, I love to make tons of snacks on the weekend instead of big meals. These keep everyone happy as they pop in and out of the kitchen during the day. I have been looking for new, easy, creative recipes to try and this is a winner!
French Dip Crescents with Simple Au Jus
Course Appetizer
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes
Ingredients
2 pkg crescent rolls 8 count
1 pound deli roast beef thinly sliced
4 ounces Swiss or provolone cheese slices
Au Jus
1 14 oz can beef broth
dash of pepper
sprinkle of garlic powder
1 tsp corn starch
Instructions
Unroll crescents onto a large cookie sheet.
On each crescent place a slice of roast beef and a piece of cheese.
Roll crescents starting from the wide end and ending at the narrow end.
Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes, until crescents are a golden color.
Serve with Au Jus and enjoy!
Au jus
Heat all of the ingredients in a small sauce pan over medium high heat whisking well. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Serve with crescents and enjoy.
